حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ فُلَانًا لَا يُفْطِرُ نَهَارَ الدَّهْرِ ! قَالَ : " لَا أَفْطَرَ وَلَا صَامَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person said to the Prophet (peace be upon him) that such-and-such man never misses fasting during the day. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: He has neither missed nor kept the fast.
