Musnad Ahmad 19550 — Hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ غَالِبٍ التَّمَّارِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَسْرُوقَ بْنَ أَوْسٍ ، أَوْ : أَوْسَ بْنَ مَسْرُوقٍ ، رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي يَرْبُوعٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيَّ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْأَصَابِعُ سَوَاءٌ " ، فَقُلْتُ لِغَالِبٍ : عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ ؟ فَقَالَ : نَعَمْ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: All fingers are equal (in terms of blood money), that is, the blood money for each finger is ten camels.
