Musnad Ahmad 19545 — Hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، قَالَ : إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِالنَّبْلِ فِي مَسَاجِدِنَا ، أَوْ أَسْوَاقِنَا ، فَلْيُمْسِكْ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى مَشَاقِصِهَا ، لَا يَعْقِرْ أَحَدًا .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Qais that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you go to the mosques and markets of the Muslims and you have arrows with you, then keep their tips under control, lest they strike someone and you cause harm or injure someone.
