Musnad Ahmad 19337 — Hadith of Zayd ibn Arqam
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ زَيْدٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : مَاتَ لِأَنَسٍ وَلَدٌ ، فكتب إليه زيد بن أرقم : أن رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِأَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Forgive the Ansar, their sons, and their grandsons.
