Musnad Ahmad 19278 — Hadith of Zayd ibn Arqam

It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the early blessed period of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), people used to talk about their needs during prayer, until this verse was revealed: "And stand before Allah devoutly obedient," and we were commanded to remain silent.
