Continuation of Musnad of the Kufans
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
And from the hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Musnad Ahmad 19182 — And from the hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ : " أَنَّهُ حِينَ بَايَعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَخَذَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ لَا يُشْرِكَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا ، وَيُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةَ ، وَيُؤْتِيَ الزَّكَاةَ ، وَيَنْصَحَ الْمُسْلِمَ ، وَيُفَارِقَ الْمُشْرِكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that at the time of accepting Islam, he took the pledge from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the condition that he would not associate anyone with Allah, would perform the obligatory prayers, pay the obligatory zakat, wish well for every Muslim, and express disavowal from the disbeliever.
