حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ الْحَكَمِ ، قَالَ : حدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ، قَالَ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَنْهَضَ إِلَى عَدُوِّهِ عِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would wait for the sun to decline and then attack the enemy.
