Musnad Ahmad 19112 — The remainder of the hadith of Abdullah ibn Abi
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ، قَالَ : " غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ ، فَكُنَّا نَأْكُلُ فِيهَا الْجَرَادَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that we participated in seven battles along with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and in those battles we used to eat locusts.
