Musnad Ahmad 19099 — Hadith of Suwayd ibn Qays from the Prophet
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ ، قَالَ : " بِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رِجْلَ سَرَاوِيلَ قَبْلَ الْهِجْرَةِ ، فَأَرْجَحَ لِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Safwan bin Umairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that before the migration, I sold a pair of trousers to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) weighed out its price for me while bending down.
