Musnad Ahmad 18956 — Hadith of Bishr ibn Suhaym
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ ، وَقَالَ : " إِنَّ هَذِهِ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ ".
Narrated to us Ibn Mahdi, from Sufyan, from Habib, from Nafi‘ ibn Jubayr, from Bishr ibn Suhaym, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave a sermon during the days of Tashriq, and mentioned something similar, and said: "These are days of eating and drinking."
