حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ سَوَاءً بِهَذَا الْكَلَاَمِ كُلِّهِ ، وَبِهَذَا الَإِِِسْنَادِ ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ فِيهِ : كَانُوا إِذَا فَزِعُوا فَزِعُوا إِلَى الصَّلَاَةِ.
Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us this hadith with the same wording, all of it, and with this chain of narration, and he did not say in it: "Whenever they were alarmed, they would turn to prayer."
