Musnad Ahmad 18803 — Hadith of Jundub al-Bajali
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، وَحُمَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ جُنْدُبٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ صَلَّى صَلاَةَ الْفَجْرِ فَهُوَ فِي ذِمَّةِ اللَّهِ ، فَلَا تُخْفِرُوا ذِمَّةَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، وَلَا يَطْلُبَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ ذِمَّتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs the Fajr prayer comes under Allah’s protection, so do not take Allah’s protection lightly (as insignificant), and let it not be that He demands from you anything that is under His responsibility.
