حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، وَبَهْزٌ ، قَالاَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَن عَدِيٍّ ، قَالَ بَهْزٌ : حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ ، وَقَالَ بَهْزٌ : عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، يَقُولُ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ ، فَصَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ ، فَقَرَأَ بِإِحْدَى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ ب التِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey, and in one rak‘ah of the ‘Isha prayer, he (peace be upon him) recited Surah Wat-Teen.
