Musnad Ahmad 18420 — Hadith of al-Nu‘man ibn Bashir from the Prophet
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : حَدَّثَنِي الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ، وَالْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، قَالاَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ حَاجِبِ بْنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُهَلَّبِ بْنِ أَبِي صُفْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ أَبْنَائِكُمْ " .
Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Al-Qawariri and Al-Muqaddimi narrated to me, they said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Hajib ibn al-Mufaddal, meaning the son of al-Muhallab ibn Abi Sufrah, from his father, from al-Nu'man ibn Bashir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Be just among your children."
