حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : وَحَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ . ح قَالَ : وَحَدَّثَنَا الْبَخْتَرِيُّ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ سَمِعُوهُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَنْ يَلِجَ النَّارَ رَجُلٌ صَلَّى قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا " . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ : آنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ . قَالَ : أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ ، وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي.
It is narrated from Hazrat Amarah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: That person will never enter Hell who offers prayer before sunrise and before sunset. A man from among the people of Basra asked him, "Did you really hear this hadith from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" He replied, "My ears heard it and my heart preserved it." That man said, "By Allah! I too heard him say this."
