حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ مُرَيِّ بْنِ قَطَرِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الصَّيْدِ أَصِيدُهُ ، قَالَ : " أَنْهِرُوا الدَّمَ بِمَا شِئْتُمْ ، وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ وَكُلُوا " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that I once submitted in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! When we hunt, sometimes we do not find a knife, so what should we do? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shed blood with whatever you wish, taking the name of Allah.
