حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا التَّيْمِيُّ ، عَنْ بَكْرٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَوَضَّأَ ، فَمَسَحَ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْعِمَامَةِ " . قَالَ بَكْر : وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ ابْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Mughira (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, he wiped over the portion of his head equal to the forehead, and he wiped over his socks and over his turban.
