(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، وَعَنْ مُجَاهِدِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَكَانَ مَعَهُ حِينَ دَخَلَهَا ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَمْ يُصَلِّ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ لَمَّا دَخَلَهَا وَقَعَ سَاجِدًا بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ جَلَسَ يَدْعُو " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that my brother, Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), told me that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah, he was with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pray there; rather, after entering, he prostrated between two pillars and then sat and began to supplicate.
