Musnad Ahmad 17771 — Hadith of 'Amr ibn al-'As from the Prophet

Hazrat Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to fast frequently and ate very little at night, but he would definitely eat suhoor, and he used to say that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: The difference between our fasts and the fasts of the People of the Book is eating suhoor.
