(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ مِنْ فَهْمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَحْمٍ ، فَجَعَلَ الْقَوْمُ يُلَقُّونَهُ اللَّحْمَ , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ أَطْيَبَ اللَّحْمِ لَحْمُ الظَّهْرِ " .
(On one occasion when a camel was slaughtered,) Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) said that on one occasion he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)—while people were bringing meat and presenting it before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)—say: "The best meat is that of the back."
