(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي شَيْخٌ مِنْ فَهْمٍ ، قَالَ : وَأَظُنُّهُ يُسَمَّى مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : وَأَظُنُّهُ حِجَازِيًّا ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ , يُحَدِّثُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَقَدْ نُحِرَتْ لِلْقَوْمِ جَزُورٌ أَوْ بَعِيرٌ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , وَالْقَوْمُ يُلْقُونَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّحْمَ ، يَقُولُ : " أَطْيَبُ اللَّحْمِ لَحْمُ الظَّهْرِ " .
Once, a camel was slaughtered, so Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) said to Sayyiduna Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) that on one occasion he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)—while people were presenting meat before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)—saying: "The best meat is that of the back."
