Musnad Ahmad 17410 — Hadith of Uqbah ibn Amir Al-Juhani
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْمُصْعَبِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " أَكْثَرُ مُنَافِقِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ قُرَّاؤُهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Most of the hypocrites of my Ummah will be among the reciters (Qurra).
