Musnad Ahmad 17360 — Hadith of Uqbah ibn Amir Al-Juhani
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : قَالَ عَبْدُ الله بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَظُنُّهُ عَنْ مِشْرَحٍ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " نِعْمَ أَهْلُ الْبَيْتِ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَأُمُّ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best household is Abu Abdullah, Umm Abdullah, and Abdullah (Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him).
