Musnad Ahmad 17319 — Hadith of Uqbah ibn Amir Al-Juhani
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا كَعْبُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِمَاسَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " كَفَّارَةُ النَّذْرِ كَفَّارَةُ الْيَمِينِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The expiation for a vow is the same as the expiation for an oath.
