Musnad Ahmad 17294 — Hadith of Uqbah ibn Amir Al-Juhani
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِمَاسَةَ التُّجِيبِيِّ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ صَاحِبُ مَكْسٍ " يَعْنِي : الْعَشَّارَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: The one who commits injustice in collecting taxes will not enter Paradise.
