Musnad Ahmad 17117 — Hadith of Shaddad ibn Aws
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Shaddad (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: The one who applies cupping and the one to whom it is applied, both their fasts are broken.
