Musnad Ahmad 17098 — The remainder of the hadith of Abu Mas'ud
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، وَالثَّوْرِيُّ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْبَدْرِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلَامِ النُّبُوَّةِ الْأُولَى إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the words that people have found from the first prophethood is this: If you have no shame, then do whatever you wish."
