Musnad Ahmad 17088 — The remainder of the hadith of Abu Mas'ud
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ ، وَعَنْ مَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ ، وَعَنْ حُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the price of a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and eating sweets given to soothsayers.
