Musnad Ahmad 17073 — The remainder of the hadith of Abu Mas'ud
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُمَارَةَ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ التَّيْمِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ الْأَزْدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا تُجْزِئُ صَلَاةٌ لِرَجُلٍ أَوْ أَحَدٍ لَا يُقِيمُ ظَهْرَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prayer of that person is not valid who does not straighten his back in bowing (ruku') and prostration (sajdah)."
