Musnad Ahmad 17071 — The remainder of the hadith of Abu Mas'ud
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوتِرُ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَوْسَطَهُ وَآخِرَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer Witr in the early, middle, and last part of the night.
