Musnad Ahmad 17068 — The remainder of the hadith of Abu Mas'ud
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ قَرَأَ الْآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice for him."
