قَالَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَسَدِيُّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُقَصِّرُ بِمِشْقَصٍ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I cut the hair of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) head at Marwah with the scissors I had with me.
