Musnad Ahmad 16878 — Hadith of Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ جَرَادٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ رَجَاءِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ يُرِدْ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُّ فِي الدِّينِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah intends good for a servant, He grants him understanding of the religion."
