حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنِي ثَوْرُ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْخَيْلِ وَالْبِغَالِ وَالْحَمِيرِ "
It is narrated from Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the meat of horses, mules, and donkeys.
