(حديث مرفوع) قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد : حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ كَثِيرٍ الْكَاهِلِيِّ ، عَنْ مِسْوَرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْأَسَدِيِّ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَرَكَ آيَةً ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، تَرَكْتَ آيَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، قَالَ : " فَهَلَّا ذَكَّرْتَنِيهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Miswar bin Yazid that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led a loud prayer and left out a verse in it. After the prayer, a man said: O Messenger of Allah! You left out such and such verse. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Why did you not remind me?
