Musnad Ahmad 16381 — Hadith of Laqit ibn Sabirah
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ لَقِيطِ بْنِ صَبِرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَخَلِّلْ الْأَصَابِعَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Laqit bin Sabrah that once I presented myself before the Prophet (ﷺ), and he said: When you perform ablution, make sure to pass your fingers through your fingers (i.e., perform khilal of the fingers).
