(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ ، رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from a companion who visited the Prophet (peace be upon him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) once offered prayer wearing only one garment in such a way that both its ends were taken out from opposite sides and placed over his shoulders.
