(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ أَبِي مَسْلَمَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الْعَزِيزِ بْنَ أَسِيدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ ، فَقَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ " .
A man asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair to give a verdict regarding the nabidh (fermented drink) of a pitcher. He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade it.
