Musnad Ahmad 16113 — Hadith of 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr ibn al-'Awwam
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ ، وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ وَابْنُ عَمَّتِي " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is my paternal cousin Zubair.
