Musnad Ahmad 16068 — Hadith of Abdur-Rahman ibn Uthman
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الْمُنْكَدِرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَائِمًا فِي السُّوقِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ يَنْظُرُ وَالنَّاسُ يَمُرُّونَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Uthman that I once saw the Prophet (ﷺ) standing in the market on the day of Eid; people kept coming continuously.
