Musnad Ahmad 15863 — Hadith of Ma'n ibn Yazid al-Sulami

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ma'n bin Yazid that I, my father, and my grandfather pledged allegiance at the hand of the Prophet (ﷺ). I presented my case before the Prophet (ﷺ), so the Prophet (ﷺ) decided in my favor, and upon my marriage proposal, he delivered the sermon and performed my marriage. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ma'n bin Yazid that I, my father, and my grandfather pledged allegiance at the hand of the Prophet (ﷺ). Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik and Surayh ibn al-Nu'man narrated to us, they said: Abu Awanah narrated to us from Abu al-Juwayriyah. Affan narrated to us, he said: Abu Awanah narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Juwayriyah narrated to us from Ma'n ibn Yazid, he said: I gave allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, myself, my father, and my grandfather, and I brought a dispute to him, so he judged in my favor, and he delivered a sermon for me, and he married me.
