(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ , أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " قَدْ يَئِسَ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ يَعْبُدَهُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ , وَلَكِنْ فِي التَّحْرِيشِ بَيْنَهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Satan has despaired of ever being worshipped again by those who pray, but he is determined to sow discord among them.
