(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنٌ ، وَيُونُسُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، قَالَ يُونُسُ : عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ " نَهَى عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ ، وَالِاحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ، وَأَنْ يَرْفَعَ الرَّجُلُ إِحْدَى رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى وَهُوَ مُسْتَلْقٍ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a man from wrapping his body in a single garment and from sitting with one leg drawn up and the other bent.
