(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يَقْعُدَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى الْقَبْرِ ، أَوْ يُقَصَّصَ ، أَوْ يُبْنَى عَلَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I myself heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbidding sitting on the grave, making it solid, and constructing a building over it.
