(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَحُجَيْنٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَأْكُلُوا بِالشِّمَالِ ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِالشِّمَالِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not eat with your left hand, for Satan eats with his left hand.
