(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : طَافَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ، لِيَرَاهُ النَّاسُ وَلِيُشْرِفَ وَيَسْأَلُوهُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ غَشُوهُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Tawaf of the House of Allah and the Sa’i between Safa and Marwah during the Farewell Pilgrimage on his mount, so that people could see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and resolve their issues easily, because at that time the people had surrounded him.
