(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ رَاشِدٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نُصِيبُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَغَانِمِنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ الْأَسْقِيَةَ وَالْأَوْعِيَةَ ، فَنَقْتَسِمُهَا وَكُلُّهَا مَيْتَةٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to find water skins and vessels among the spoils of war from the polytheists along with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and we would distribute them, and all of these were from dead animals.
