(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَاءٍ ، فَإِذَا لَمْ يُوجَدْ سِقَاءٌ ، نُبِذَ لَهُ فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ ، فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ لَهُ : وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ مِنْ بِرَامٍ ؟ قَالَ أَوْ مِنْ بَرَامٍ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that nabidh used to be prepared for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a waterskin, and if there was no waterskin, then it would be prepared in a stone pot.
