(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ ، فَلَا يَبْصُقْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ، وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ ، وَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِِ ، أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you is praying, he should not spit in front of him or to his right side, but rather he should spit to his left side or under his foot.
