(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السُّلَمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، سَمِعَ أَنَسًا ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَانَ " يُعْجِبُهُ الدُّبَّاءُ " ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَجَعَلْتُ أَضَعُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was very fond of pumpkin. Once, food was presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or someone invited him, so since I knew that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) liked pumpkin, I kept separating it and placing it before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
